• Captain Obvious Reveal: Adam isn't Adam! The show built it up in such a transparent way that by the time it was revealed, the audience almost certainly knew it. In fact, most people knew it before even starting the show because much of the marketing was equally as un-subtle.
• Narm: The commercials where "Adam" watches an old birthday party home movie and replays the part where he says "I want a big piece! I want the frosting!" repeatedly before awkwardly reciting the line again. It was supposed to be creepy, but fails spectacularly.
