YMMV / The Cavern

• Bile Fascination: The film is so horrendous that the only reason why people would watch it is to see on how many levels it fails.
• Nausea Fuel: Some of the characters' deaths, and the Gratuitous Rape scene at the end.
• Nightmare Retardant: The "Within" poster is actually kinda creepy, with a Nothing Is Scarier vibe. The "Cavern" poster adds a pair of yellow eyes to it, which just makes it look silly.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: Chances are if you've heard of this movie, it's due to the infamous, and disgusting, mid-rape ending.
• Retroactive Recognition: Writer-director Olatunde Osunsanmi is better known these days for being the principal director of Star Trek: Discovery.

• Special Effect Failure: Anytime there's a campfire used, it's obvious it's CGI.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: The main characters are unlikable, obnoxious, and dimwitted, and they constantly make one bad decision after another bad decision, constantly endangering themselves and each-other. Eventually you'll just get frustrated with the characters and likely give up on the movie halfway through.
