• Anti-Climax Boss: Sensei is clearly the most dangerous character in the movie, but he bites the dust incredibly easily when Casey puts a bullet in his head on the mat.
• Award Snub: Despite not necessarily being an "award movie," it was completely overlooked throughout the 2019 award season.
• Love to Hate: Sensei. He's a misogynistic, physically-imposing, power-abusing criminal. His over-the-top antagonism coupled with Allesandro Nivola's unflinchingly calm delivery, however, make him far too enjoyable for his own good.
