• Moral Event Horizon: Shong and Po cross it when they open fire on the kids.
• Never Live It Down: For good or bad, the scenes where the kids strip down and Ling accidentally sees Ryan naked are probably the most (in)famous part of the film.
• Nightmare Fuel: The mother panda's initial capture by the reserve team is only done to get a radio collar on her; it's also loud, frightening, and generally played as it appears from a panda's perspective. Mama Panda's violent thrashing against the cage only quiets when the team tranquilizes her, and since they don't administer an antidote afterwards, she's left lying motionless as her terrified cub watches from hiding.
