• Harsher in Hindsight: This excerpt from an interview to him for the 2007 documentary The Circus: Live Fast, Die Young:
  "I just turned 32 years old and went to eight funerals this year. Do I want to join that club? Hell, no, I don't want to join that club. So either you clean up, straighten up - or lay down beside them."
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Test having a serious feud against Triple H after his marriage to Stephanie McMahon could have led to a seriously good blood feud, since Triple H basically drugged and raped Test's fiancee. However, what happens is that Test is beaten down by D-Generation X and all but forgotten by the next show, with Triple H becoming the top heel and Test being Demoted to Extra by forming T & A with Albert and the debuting Trish Stratus. They eventually do revisit Test's vendetta against Triple H but by then, all the wind has been taken out of the feud's sails since enough time has gone by that it just doesn't feel as important anymore and Test acted quite uncharacteristic by talking about how he was the one who really wanted to marry Stephanie to advance his career.
