YMMV / Swindle

  • Designated Hero: Griffin sold the card legally, and didn't decide to look up how much the card was worth until after he sold it. He doesn't have any reason therefore to take it on a personal level other then to sell it again, but for more money this time.
  • Idiot Plot: The plot hinges entirely on Griffin rushing off to Swindell's to sell the card without first bothering to look up how much it was worth, even though there was no reason he couldn't just type "Honus Wagner" into a search engine and learn that the guy was a big deal in his day (and that this particular Honus Wagner card is extremely rare).

  • Hollywood Homely: Amanda Benson back when she was 'Mandy the Mutant'. Ariana Grande with glasses, braces, pigtails and a frumpy sweater is still Ariana freaking Grande.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Sure, Swindell cheats people for a living, but he really crossed it is when he pushed a nun in a wheelchair down a hill, even though it was Savannah in disguise.
