• Broken Base: The death of Lois Lane has been highly mixed. A good Vocal Minority are blowing up over the event, accusing DC Comics of treating the character poorly again, citing alternate universe-based comics such as Kingdom Come and Injustice: Gods Among Us. They also claim that this was supposed to be her comic and they went and killed her off at the very beginning. Others are rolling their eyes at this, citing the entire "Hail HYDRA" fiasco with Captain America not even three months prior and saying these people haven't learned from it. They claim that the comic was never about Lois Lane in the first place but just the titular "Superwoman" which we find out were actually two, the first issue was called "Who is Superwoman?". Though Word of God has stated that the old comicbook standby is in play and that the first three comics will all be Wham Episodes, so fans should calm down and wait until the dust has settled.
• Funny Moments: The Running Gag of Atomic Skull wanting a gold star from Maggie Sawyer to put on his fridge in issue #11.
• It Was Her Sled: By now, solicits no longer try to hide the fact that "Superwoman" refers to Lana Lang, not Lois Lane.
• Rooting for the Empire: Quite a number of readers rooting for Lena Luthor to achieve her goal due to how fabulously evil she is. The fact that she has a tragic background and is even more intelligent than Lex also helps the sentiment.
