• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • David Yost (the actor who played Billy) was gay and walked off the set after the production crew threw too many certain homophobic slurs at him, which makes the Camp Gay portrayal of Billiam look rather offensive.
  • Renaldo's sexually deviant shenanigans may seem amusing at first, but when you learn that his voice actor is Bryon "Psyguy" Beaubien, who was later outed as being sexually abusive towards women, it really becomes uncomfortable to watch...
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The movie's climax features every single Power Ranger showing up to beat on Evan Splooge... and then Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger featured every past ranger from Super Sentai fight against an evil army, which was adapted into Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
  • Lord Zet is the son of Lord Zedd and Rita. Come Operation Overdrive, which came out about a year later, and we're introduced to Thrax, Zedd and Rita's ACTUAL child. The latter would then be incorporated as Zet's brother.
