- Shallow Parody: Yoshi is portrayed as being resentful of Mario forcing him to give rides, even though it was Yoshi who always offered the ride in the original games ("Hop on my back!").
- Viewer Gender Confusion: Nugget and Chickette are girls (it says right in the title that they are the Super Chick Sisters), but people who've played the second game first may be confused by how they have mustaches.
- What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: These games are not cutesy games for kids, even if they seem that. The intent was to denounce KFC and McDonald's. This game can show videos of how animals are killed.
- The Woobie: Per the creator on Newgrounds, Mario is intended to be sympathized with.
