YMMV / Star Wars: The Clone Wars S2E18 "The Zillo Beast"

Go To

  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Mace Windu comes off as a hypocritical jerk when he digs in his heels about not killing the Zillo Beast, stating it's an innocent and unique lifeform, and killing it would be going against the Jedi way. This despite the fact he has no qualms about sending thousands of clones, each of them a unique lifeform, to their deaths as Cannon Fodder during war. Apparently they must not count since they're just mooks. He arrogantly states it's not even about the creature, it's the "principle of the matter", even when the Zillo Beast goes on a rampage, killing many innocent clones and Dugs that could've been prevented if he'd just agreed to kill it to begin with.

How well does it match the trope?
