• Ho Yay: Kirk accuses Marlena of seducing Spock in “The Greater Good”, and she notes that he seems to be jealous of her rather than of Spock.
• Tear Jerker: “Hell’s Mirror” gives mirror Kirk a Dark and Troubled Past, with how he was raised by Good Parents who read him stories like “The Once And Future King”, making him so close to original flavour Kirk until the home was burned down and he was kidnapped to be re-educated into a monster. He and Spock pretend it was just lies to fool Khan, but it turns out to be true.
