YMMV / Star Fox (1983)

• Hilarious in Hindsight: The fact that the games bears the name "Star Fox" and is a shooter and predates the Nintendo franchise by a decade. See Memetic Mutation.
• Memetic Mutation: Due to the relative obscurity of the game, and the fact that the gameplay concept is very similar to Nintendo's own Star Fox that would debut a decade later, this game is jokingly referred to as a long-lost sibling in the Star Fox series, and the 1993 game as a successful "reboot" of the series. It isn't of course (or is it?), but its still hilarious if you think about it.
