• Friendly Fandoms:
  • Fans of The Worst Witch seem to get along with the So Awkward fandom really well, since both shows follow their plots at different schools in different timelines. In fact, So Awkward and The Worst Witch are both CBBC's best shows and both came to an end in 2020 where The Worst Witch ended in April and So Awkward ended in October.
  • Fans can also get along with the fandom of Hilda, which is a popular Netflix series starring Bella Ramsey and Ameerah Falzon-Ojo. The show is purely Mildred Hubble and Jas Salford as best friends and go on adventures together.
• Harsher in Hindsight: During the series finale Jas has the line "Guys I've just realized this could be the last time that we're all together". Archie Lyndhurst (Ollie) passed away a month before the episode aired.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Both So Awkward and The Worst Witch got happy endings in their final episodes. The 2017 Worst Witch series ends with Mildred Hubble (Bella Ramsey) celebrating with her friends, as well as some new friends, upon being appointed as Head Girl and the finale of So Awkward ends with the gang, along with Jas Salford (Ameerah Falzon-Ojo), dancing together at prom and taking pics in the photo booth. And for the bonus points, Bella and Ameerah's other show, Hilda, also got a happy ending for their second season which had Hilda and her friends celebrating Sonstansil and watching the tree glow. In addition Hilda and the Mountain King premiered on December 30th, 2021, which follows the sixth and final Hilda book in the series so fans of both shows can look forward to a bigger happy ending.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Fans of Hilda flocked over to So Awkward, to watch Frida's voice actor, Ameerah Falzon-Ojo.
• Replacement Scrappy: Of the actor variety. Fans were not happy to learn that Emily Burnett would be taking over from Ameerah Falzon-Ojo as Jas, who left the show to take part in Hilda.
