- Alternative Character Interpretation:
- When Jod is talking about how nothing had to get violent and how he truly admires At Attin for what they do and how he is willing to let them continue their "great work" making credits, was he being sincere? Or was it mockery and how he wants them to keep making credits for him while he and his crew occupy their planet?
- At the end, when the barrier is brought down, why did Jod let Wim, Fern, Fara and Wendle walk when he still could have shot them (since Wim is likely untrained with the lightsaber and couldn't deflect the blaster bolts)? Did he think they were Not Worth Killing, whether because he thought it was beneath him or he just didn't see a point since he'd already lost? Villain Respect for managing to defeat him? Or did he assume that it would be easier to let them live and try to make an escape than have to worry about another possible fight?
- Crosses the Line Twice: The pirates performing an Orbital Bombardment on At Attin? Totally horrifying. Neel's younger siblings saying "Pow, Pow!" right after? Adorable.
- Fanfic Fuel:
- The identity of the Jedi who found Jod as a child and started his training before being killed. Since the only concrete facts known are (a) that Jod refers to her using female pronouns, (b) that she was on the run, (c) that she was eventually tracked down and brutally killed by her pursuers, and (d) Remember the New Guy? is frequently used for Order 66 survivors since before the Disney buyout; that leaves an awful lot of room for fanciful and creative speculation.
- At Attin has been exposed to the wider galaxy. How will this change things, both for the people of At Attin and the galaxy itself. How will they take the news that they missed the fall and rise of the republic, as well as the Empire that replaced it?
- Improved Second Attempt: Three years after The Book of Boba Fett subjected viewers to hovering Vespas slowly trailing a convertible through a crowded town square, this episode's hoverbike ride into the forest conveyed speed and danger more convincingly, with help from dynamic cinematography and a variety of locales.
