- Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: A common complaint of the fanfic. It is notorious among certain people for its extremely bleak tone. The main antagonist, already a monster in his home series, is made even more unsympathetic, and he, along with his goons from Dead End, successfully breaks all the heroines of their respective series. Once the heroines unite, it actually only gets worse from there. The main goddess that unites them together is a borderline cynic, who simply gazes over the situation and somewhat accepts the reality that everything is lost. In fact, she barely becomes useful in any part of the story. The heroines' efforts are continuously being shoved off and come out as Pyrrhic Victory or The Bad Guy Wins, because when one of the villains is defeated, ANOTHER one immediately takes their place and it continues on. All of this adds to a story that is so bleak that it is hard to root for the heroines or the villains themselves.
- Story-Breaker Power: The reason the likes of of the Symphogears isn't in the fic, aside from the author having only just recently gotten into it, is because they would be too powerful for the setting.
