- SNK Boss: In Story mode, the final preset opponents put the player to the test. While Metal Shades isn't too hard, Twisted Terry spams Bumpers every few seconds, which fling you every which way around the track if you run into them.
- Unexpected Character: When the game started out, the roster featured characters from smaller independent h-games, so seeing big names like Haydee and Zone-Tan were a welcome surprise.
- Characters like Ingrid or Picarto.tv's mascot Mimi weren't ones you would expect to see in an adult game. Ingrid came from a webcomic that is for general audiences, only including a brief flash of Ingrid in her undergarments as a gag, though the webcomic's creator has also drawn mature non-canon art of her. While Picarto does allow adult art, it isn't the front and center main focus of the website, so one might not expect Mimi to be in such a risqué game.
- The Frank's Adventure series is a fondly remembered franchise from the early days of the internet, however, its last release was Frank's Adventure 4 in 2006. This is Frank's first official appearance in a video game in 16 years.
- Perhaps the most unexpected of all is Wild Woody. A Mascot with Attitude who's debut was on a dying console, released back in 1995. The game was a flop, seen as an average platformer doomed to bargain bins shortly after its release. Besides that, an anthropomorphic pencil sticks out like a sore thumb in a roster full of sexualized HGame protagonists.* Fittingly, he was revealed on April Fools' Day 2024.
