• Black Sheep Hit: "Another Hero Lost". While it wasn't their first ballad or their last, it was their most modern rock-oriented and was a clear bid at radio play. It worked to some degree, but a lot of fans hated it, and given that there was nothing else on Threads of Life even close to it, rock radio fans who latched onto that song were generally scared away by the rest of the album. The band quickly turned against it and stopped playing it live only a year and a half after the record came out and never put it back on the setlist.
