- Hilarious in Hindsight: Willem Dafoe plays the fictional version of Nosferatu actor, Max Schreck (the actor of Count Orlok). This won't be the last time he stars in a Nosferatu movie as he would later on get casted in Robert Eggers' remake of Nosferatu in 2023.
- Narm: Some of Schreck's expressions and gestures go over the top, mildly speaking.
- Squick: Shreck plucks a bat out of the air mid flight, bites its head off and drains its blood. The look on his drinking buddies' faces says it all.
