  • Adorkable: Matthew/Zecaeru, through and through. He's as much of an incubus as his brothers, but his bubbly personality and sweet interactions with the MC have elicited a squee from many a player.
  • Base-Breaking Character: Saero from the sequel has fans divided. Many wholeheartedly ship him with Diana/Ezaeur, and love him for being a badass with a soft spot for the leader of the rebellion—you can also learn much more about him if you go down Diana's route, and he can respectfully back away from your relationship with her, or join you both in a polyamorous relationship. At the same time, many fans dislike him for his loyalty and protectiveness of Diana going too far—this is most evident in James' route, where he outright threatens to kill the MC. He's also a Yandere for Diana, as seen in the Bad Ending for her route. Laws herself has stated that as much as she loves Saero and ships him with Diana, she intentionally wrote him to be as flawed as he is.
  • Even Better Sequel: It's near-universally accepted that the sequel is ten times better than the first game, with a more focused plotline, better art, and routes that are drastically different from each other as opposed to nearly identical part from the character you chose.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Damien/Izroul is voiced by Jonah Scott, who has since reached a lot of fame for being the English voice of Legosi in Beastars.
  • The Woobie: Damien. Considering how he grew up a bastard, listened to his mother's rape every night, and was almost killed by both his mother and father, the player can't help but feel sorry for him.
