• Older Than They Think: The ending is more or less exactly the same as Tanz Der Vampire- heroine turns into a vampire in the final scene and turns the hero, and while they run off together, another character's efforts to contain and destroy vampirism instead allows them to spread and take over the world. This is particularly hilarious when you consider that the actor and actress playing Alfred and Sarah on the Vienna revival cast recording of Tanz met while playing Romeo and Juliet in the musical version.
