• Scrappy Mechanic: Over Power can be played without a controller that has a right analog stick (such as arcade sticks and "classic"-style gamepads without analog sticks, two of the most favored controller types by the shmup community), but doing so prevents you from being able to lock your option's aim direction when using Fighter mode, and the Shot Change button effectively becomes useless since it only alters which ship mode you're in when you use the right stick instead of the shot button. The Shot Change function also replaces the Rapid function, mandating tapping the fire button repeatedly and continously in order to use Fighter mode.
• Spiritual Adaptation: This game is basically Akai Katana 2, featuring a Three-Quarters View of the ground in a horizontal shmup and the use of an Attack Drone.
