• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Many, and always used for a joke.
  • Road to Bali:
    • A man (Bob Crosby, Bing Crosby's brother) walks on-screen, fires a gun, and leaves. George (Bing Crosby) explains this with "That's my brother. I promised him a shot in the picture."
    • Humphrey Bogart has a cameo by way of a clip from The African Queen. Crosby and Hope's characters comment on how weird this is and snark, "Boy, is he lost!"
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In Road to Bali Harold (Bob Hope) says "I laugh at danger. Ha ha ha ha!", sounding oddly like Simba.
• Ho Yay: In Road to Bali George and Harold end up married to each other.
