• Die for Our Ship: Since Frozen was added into the fandom, there has been animosity between Jack/Rapunzel and Jack/Elsa shippers. This may even involve literally killing the "other girl". In turn, Jack himself may get demonized, humiliated, and/or outright killed, just so one of the girls commonly shipped with him could hook up with someone else.
• Fandom Rivalry:
  • With Bee Shrek Test in the House, although it's more of a joking jab from the BSTH fandom at the massive popularity of RotBTD's fandom.
  • There is also a bit of rivalry with the SuperWhoLock fandom.
• Friendly Fandoms:
  • Fans of Rise of the Guardians, Tangled, How to Train Your Dragon, and Brave take Friendly Fandoms to extreme and becoming a fandom itself. Frozen (2013) is sometimes added to the mix, too, and sometimes, there is a Fandom Rivalry instead.
  • Oddly enough, the early 2020s saw fans of Disney and Jujutsu Kaisen (particularly of the crossover shipping that occurred on TikTok) regain some interest in this phenomenon.
• Ho Yay Shipping: Hiccup/Jack and Merida/Rapunzel. Rapunzel/Astrid is also fairly popular.
• Portmanteau Couple Name:
  • Meric(c)up for Merida/Hiccup
  • Jack(p)unzel or Japunzel for Jack/Rapunzel
  • Meripunzel for Merida/Rapunzel
  • Hijack for Hiccup/Jack
  • Hic(c)unzel for Hiccup/Rapunzel
  • Jarida for Jack/Merida
  • Jelsa for Jack/Elsa
• Ship Mates:
  • Astrid and Flynn get paired together sometimes to make way for the Big Four pairings. And when they're not shipped together, there are plenty of side characters to pair them with, a side bonus of combining four (and counting) movies into one fandom.
  • Jack/Rapunzel and Merida/Hiccup are often shipped together. Likewise, Hiccup/Rapunzel and Jack/Merida are also commonly seen together.
  • Jack/Merida is also popular among fans who prefer to leave Rapunzel and Hiccup with their canon love interests.
  • For slash shippers, Hiccup/Jack and Merida/Rapunzel work well together.
• Ship-to-Ship Combat: Since Frozen entered the mix, there has been animosity between Jack/Rapunzel and Jack/Elsa shippers.
