YMMV / Rigmor

Go To

  • Base-Breaking Character: Rigmor is this in both mods. She's often chastising the player for various things and lashing out at others. Some people are sympathetic to her given the horrible things she has been through and will go through, while others still don't think it can be justified or excused. It's one of the main things that players have a problem with in this mod.
  • Game-Breaking Bug: The original mod had many bugs, which is why the mod creator suggests that those playing this game should have a new save file dedicated to Rigmor, otherwise more problems will occur.
  • Narm:
    • The voice acting sometimes falls flat, not showing enough emotion for all the drama that is happening in the game.
    • Throughout the second mod and after Rigmor's hair is chopped off again, the player will constantly be given the prompt to ask Rigmor about the hair-recovery tonic, even if the player didn't do the quest to obtain it. This leads to awkward situations where the dialogue option for that consistently pops up again even during serious scenes.
    • In the second mod, Tish and Bertilok are easy examples of this when Tish yells at Bertilok to kill everything in his sight and he merely messes up the room and hits the walls.
  • Squick: A chunk of players don't enjoy the romantic implications with Rigmor, preferring to see her their relationship as familial or platonic. Fortunately, the developer listened to these complaints, and in the remake of the mod, an option to have the player keep their relationship purely platonic was added.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
    • Rigmor can easily come across as this to many players, given her highly abrasive attitude. Some people don't think that her dark backstory excuses that, and because she's pivotal to the entire mod and its plot she can be incredibly divisive.
    • Given that the Dragonborn has few dialogue options, they can also come across this way if the player is only given the choice to yell at Rigmor.
  • The Woobie: Rigmor undergoes a Trauma Conga Line throughout her backstory and her current life.
