• Die for Our Ship: One of the worst cases by far in the Kimagure Orange Road fandom. Hikaru gets nearly all the tropes associated with characters who are demonized in this manner. It doesn't help that she has been hated for decades because of the Love Triangle.
• Moral Event Horizon: Hikaru's murders, particularly of Kyosuke, guarantee that she crosses this line, especially when she slashes Kyosuke's throat to cause him as much pain as possible.
