- So Bad, It's Good: Played for Laughs with "Good King Wenceslas" from Let it Snow Baby...Let it Reindeer, to the extent that one of them actually breaks into laughter while singing on the recording.
- Harsher in Hindsight: It's kind of hard to listen to the love songs on Five Score and Seven Years Ago with the knowledge that Thiessen's fiancee called off their engagement. And yet, this fact seems to enhance Forget and Not Slow Down.
- Tear Jerker: "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" can be this for those who can't forgive themselves for something that has happened in the past that they deeply regret doing. There's a reason why Josh Scorcher uses the below acoustic version of the song during his video on his "Top Ten Personal Episodes" of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, for a very good reason.
- The acoustic version is arguably even sadder.
