  • Ass Pull: A complaint about the mod is that half of the hirable party members suddenly appear out of nowhere at one third of the storyline, without being introducted at all (not even a mere line like "I know several guys who could help us" thrown in the middle of a cutscene), and have no plot signification at all. The reason is that Benton Grey designed the missions first, then added a lot of unplanned player characters thanks to suggestions from various discussion boards without updating the story to take the whole cast in account.
  • Awesome Music: The mod's soundtrack contains plenty of epic and fast-paced titles, including tracks from the movies adaptation of Indiana Jones, The Rocketeer, The Phantom...
  • Demonic Spiders:
    • Kung-fu Masters only have mêlée attacks, but they are fast, hit hard, and dodge very well. They appear in large crowds.
    • The personal army of John Sunlight is equipped with long range weapons inflicting area damages and having a chance to stun the target. You'll often encounter them in large groups.
    • The Oparian are very resilient and their attacks are tough in mêlée and in range.
    • Atlantian Automatons have lot of hitpoints, are highly resistant to almost all type of damage, and hit like a truck. You'll never meet a single one (they're either encounter in groups of two, or in the middle of a party of John Sunlight mooks, described above.
  • Difficulty Spike: The campaign has an abrupt increase in difficulty when you start the 1930's Opar level (level 15 out of 17). At this point, most of the enemies you'll encounter are Demonic Spiders.
  • Game-Breaker:
    • Tarzan default attack is his bow. It inflicts average damage but it knocks back its target (knocked back units receive falling damage when hitting the ground) and don't require any mana. Very useful for crowd control, especially since Tarzan is one of the free heroes.
    • Jungle Jim's ability ".30-06 Rifle Shot" is similar, but with much more damage and an huge knock back. Not only any mooks who somehow survived the shot will recieve additional damage from the fall, but the time the target will need to go back to fight is enough for Jungle Jim's Mana Meter to refill. Rinse and repeat. This is somehow mitigated by Jungle Jim being one of the heroes you need to buy with Prestige Points instead of receiving him for free when the plot proceeds, and he is among the most expensive ones, but still...
    • Captain Midnight can fly (which makes him immune to mêlée damage and harder to hit with ranged attacks). He throws variout powerful bombs and can shoot with a pistol. And he can do all this while hovering above the ground. Ideal to lay destruction on the ground while better at dodging. Though, like Jungle Jim, he is a paid hero instead of being unlocked for free.
    • The Rocketeer has similar abilities, with the added benefit of flying with a jetpack instead of a wingsuit: if surrounded, the jetpack postcombustion can be used as an improvised flamethrower, damaging all the surrounding units while throwing them away. Over Captain Midnight, he also has the advantage of being free.
    • Doc Savage is one of the most resilient heroes, he runs faster than the others, punches like a truck, and had two Heroic Resolves instead of the usual one. He's one of the free ones.
  • That One Sidequest: "Prevent the looting of the museum" is an optional mission objective of level 5 (inside the museum) in which Indiana Jones and the Shadow must stop thugs who are rushing toward one of the museum's exit door. Did the (unmarked) mook carrying the box manage to reach the door? Secondary objective failed. Did you manage to kill said mook but hit the box with a stray bullet? Secondary objective failed. And to add insult to the injury, loading a save inside a level sometimes messes with the event flags, which can make this specific sidequest unable to be completed until you restart the level from scratch.
