  • Pizzicato Five are famous not just in Japan, USA has a lot of love for them, being very famous in some circles, which probably is the main reason why various of their discs were made in USA (for Matador Records) and even versions of their Japanese discs.
  • Their song "Sweet Soul Revue" is popular in the Philippines due to its use in a cosmetics commercial and as the theme song of Ranma 1/2's Filipino Dub.
  • In Chile, were known in The '90s thanks to the Otaku Cult Classic TV program Bakania that used "Twiggy Twiggy" as its opening theme. Also "Sweet Sour Revue" was played in various radio stations and some extracts of their songs like "Catwalk" were used as curtains for commercials in radios.
• Song Association: Actually Pizzicato Five is associated with the "Designers Music", which are all those obscure bands only you can know if you got a designer friend.
• Spiritual Successor: Karia Nomoto, also known as Karly, a Shibuya-kei artist and also a model, is considered by many as the new Maki Nomiya during the Turn of the Millennium, even by the same Konishi who sponsored her by Readymade Records.
