YMMV / Pinwheel

Go To

  • Common Knowledge: Pinwheel is often mistaken to be Nickelodeon's original name back when it was a channel on QUBE, since Pinwheel was the only show to air on the network at that time. Before being called Nickelodeon, the network didn't have a name and was only referred to on QUBE as "C-3" (Channel 3).
  • Fan Nickname: About Dressy Sally (O parádivé Sally) was one of many foreign animations featured between the show's usual puppet/human segments. It is colloquially known as "Clock Man," due to its signature scene of the wizard flying out of a clock to capture Sally.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Jim Jinkins, the creator of Doug, worked on the series as a puppeteer, designer and occasional actor (among other roles, he was the voice of Minus) fresh out of college. Yes, the creator of one of the first Nicktoons was involved with Nickelodeon before it was even Nickelodeon!
