- Hilarious in Hindsight: She said proudly "Antonella es única". Indeed.
- Overshadowed by Controversy: Thelma Fardín (Josefina) denounced in December 2018 that Juan Darthés (Leandro) sexually abused her back in the day, during a promotional trip for the show in Nicaragua; Darthés denies it. This led to a judicial case in Nicaragua (as the crime is alleged to have taken place there, and not in Argentina) and a huge controversy in the media, including most Argentine actresses starting a campaign compared with the 2017 #MeToo campaign. Needless to say, hardly anyone who mentions Patito Feo nowadays will be making reference to anything else about the show but that.
- Rooting for the Empire: Infamously, and noted on the other wiki, children preferred the pretty, yet evil, Las Divinas to Las Populares. Partially ties into Mis-blamed, as the point was to subvert Beauty Equals Goodness.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The whole change of bodies would have allowed an interesting sight, to see Brenda Asnicar (=Antonella) singing "A Volar" or some other song of the Populares, and Laura Esquivel (=Patito) singing "Diosa Unica Bonita" or some other song of the Divinas. But it was never done.
YMMV / Patito Feo
