- Nausea Fuel: There are a couple of disgusting moments in this book, including Paul and Judy wiggling the Beastie's eyes and messing with it's worm boogers.
- What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The fact that Paul and Judy are eaten by the Beastie at the end of the book and the fact that the book involves lots of animal abuse, kids might be terrified by this book.
