- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Episode 291, the second special, has Buggy ally with Mr. 3. The same thing would end up canonically happening in the Impel Down arc.
- Luffy and crew would end up in a Edo Japan like setting several years later.
- Narm: Luffy saying he's going to be a policeman instead of King of the Pirates is quite jarring.
