  • Rumpel's gambit to trap Emma in the Hat. In the past the thought of separating a parent from their child is something even he wouldn't do (it's the reason he wouldn't kill Robin Hood, and why he secretly helped Emma reunite Hansel and Gretel with their dad. Of course he had no qualms about making deals that involved him getting people's babies.) But now he doesn't care about that at all in the slightest. It means either that his definition of "love" was always self-centered or the writers are getting sloppy. Or he didn't mind separating Henry from Emma because he would still have his grandfather (and in fact, as is revealed next episode, he intends to take him out of Storybrooke with him and Belle).
• Fridge Brilliance: Anna doesn't mention Elsa's powers while under the effects of the Spell of Shattered Sight. When she said she is not afraid of them, it's the truth.
