  • Base-Breaking Character: Mack. Even Jacob has acknowledged how divisive the character's reception has been with the viewers.
  • Catharsis Factor: Seeing Joey turn the tables on Mack (who had already established himself as a petty, selfish, power-hungry jerkass since the series pilot, with Mack forced to listen and unable to rebuff as Joey has Tyler interrupt Mack whenever he tries to mouth Joey off.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: EVERY. SINGLE. WORD that comes out of Flim's mouth would normally be horrific on so many levels if not for the incredibly consistent and chipper tone through which Shane Blair voices his lines.
  • Growing the Beard: While the first season was well-received, the second season showed drastic improvement, from the voice acting to the action, to the character development and intriguing plot points, such as the Necromancer.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Joey and Leo's entire conversation in Season 1, Episode 12.
Leo: Anyway, Mack's right about me. I'm a freak.
Joey: (serious) Shut the fuck up. You're not a freak, you're my best friend.
Leo: Yeah, well, I've also been alive for a hundred years.
Joey: Doesn't matter. You're my bud, and that's that.

Leo: And maybe, if I can figure [Mack] out, I can finally discover who I am.
Joey: Well, you don't have to do it alone. I've got your back.
    Leo: Thanks...asshole.
    Joey: Bitch!
    • From "Here We Are Together":
Kory: Well, we saved ourselves from utter destruction. What now, boss?
Maylor: Well, Kory, considering the ORNGE never existed, I ain't nobody's boss anymore.
  • Moment of Awesome: Leo shielding the GRN and ORNGE with his body from a tank shell in Season 2, Episode 7.
