• Awesome Music: Most of the tracks here qualify, such as the stage 1 theme Urban Trail, the tunnel stage theme Burning Road, and especially the Final Boss theme.
  • Touhou Project fans may find the last one familiar—the first part of Suwako's theme is strongly based on it.
• Demonic Spiders: Anything with missiles, especially because missiles in later levels have very good homing capability and will hit you more often than not. Compounded when there are background obstructions in the way.
  • Jet planes are the worst of the lot. They can fly, are hard to hit, and you have very little time to shoot them down before they fire a missile. The best method to deal with them is to stay high, then drop low when they fire their missile- if the missile goes offscreen, it disappears.
• I Am Not Shazam: The name of your Flying Car is Inter Gray, not Night Striker.
• Polished Port: The Sega Saturn version comes with six exclusives levels, as well as a new intro movie.
• Porting Disaster: Compared to the gorgeous sprite scaling of the arcade version, the Sega CD version is reduced to a pixelated mess. The one things going for it are the arranged soundtrack and relatively stable gameplay and framerate.
• That One Level: Stage U may be one, due to the fact that almost every enemy in the stage shoots homing missiles that are hell to avoid.
