• Hilarious in Hindsight: The plot of Sidekicks sounds similar to the premise of The Lego Movie 2, whose trailer premiered days after the first chapter was released, only difference being the main heroes are kidnapped into space. To add to this, most of the main characters are female, while the main heroes, besides Jenny, are male, thus making Sweet Mayhem's "hapless male" joke not seem out of place.
