  • Hamand Cheese: Martin Lawrence was clearly having a blast as Earl and doesn’t hold anything back.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Earl is clearly supposed to come off as a lovable scamp, but between his framing an innocent man for a crime he didn't commit for a very petty reason, followed by his continual humiliation and mistreatment of the same man out of misplaced spite, and his generally hypocritical tendency to constantly play the race card rather than face up to the consequences of his choices, he really doesn't.
