- Harsher in Hindsight:
- Lindsay Lohan's appearance in the film, following her trips to rehab.
- Harvey Weinstein, whose company Miramax Films distributed the movie, makes an appearance. This would be uncomfortable enough in any other work, but him appearing in a work starring a role model for young girls compounds this significantly. Not helping matters is that an actress gets his attention, and he talks to her in a somewhat flirtatious manner.
