• Die for Our Ship: Sandbar's Love at First Sight reaction towards Swift Foot has aggravated fans who consider Sandbar and Yona to be an official couple, no matter it's unlikely to last.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Some Sonic fans picked this one up after hearing Ian Flynn was writing it, curious to see how he'd handle a My Little Pony story.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The Thracians weren't revealed until the midpoint of the story and outside of Swift Foot's family, we don't see any other Thracians or know much about them outside of being another pony tribe. Even Swift Foot's magic which is clearly a different kind of magic, outside of being able to contact individuals over long distances, nothing else was explained.
