YMMV / Mr. Love: Queen's Choice

  • Adorkable: The MC has a lot of personality for an Otome protagonist, which includes this trope. Whether it be excitement over sweets or drawing comics of a yelling Victor in her meeting notes, she's quite an adorkable character.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Ye "Minor" Han (aka. Kanya), the heroine's ol' high school classmate who invites himself into the heroine's company pleading for work is quite popular in the fandom for his quirkiness and his ability to befriend their then delinquent upperclassman Gavin of all people.
  • Evil Is Cool: Despite revealing his agenda to the heroine with his cold, and emotionless persona, fans continue to find Lucien as Ares attractive. Then again, he is a legit love-interest, after all.
  • Fan Nickname:
    • The Chinese community commonly calls the Heroine as "悠然 (Yōu-Rán)" based on a beta test clip released by developers for promotion use; and the name stuck with Doujinshi enthusiasts for the convenience of the heroine having a “legitimate” name of sort. The name may or may not be randomly program generated, but with "Yōu-Rán's" Meaningful Name of "Leisure Flare" and or "Leisure Agreement" sounded beautiful enough for the community to keep it.
    • PikaXiao/Shaw; it's almost a global recognition.
  • Fourth Wall Myopia: Season 2 Chapter 20 sparked the controversy as to how thorough The Heroine, in story, understood Lucien did not approve his research team to apply the first batch of bullets used in Chapters 13 and 14 onto her. This sent Lucien's CN server fans into confusion and rampage; leading to Lucien’s fan communities forming armies bombarding developer suggestion mail boxes on issues not about Lucien, but over the Heroine's character development by voicing their objections as to how their Player Character — the character representing the players, who has Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory from S1, immaturely lost her cool and lashed out on Lucien('s car) where as players were already on board with the understanding that Lucien should be trusted, no matter what kinds of shady moves he makes. This issue also brought up the question as to how much of a weight adjustment should papergames make to retain their consumers’ rights by leaving the necessary room for players to see themselves as the Player Character, all the while giving their writers more creative freedom to develop The Heroine’s own in-story unique character.
  • Friendly Fandoms: with Love Nikki - Dress Up Queen, thanks to both games being made by the same developer.
  • Narm: Like Love Nikki, the English localization has tons of blatantly obvious spelling and grammar mistakes. This is only noticeable in the dates and City Stroll, both of which aren't necessary to the main story; ruining many moments that were supposed to be touching or dramatic.
