YMMV / MrBeast

  • Fandom Rivalry: Fans of MrBeast have occasionally called out fellow Youtuber Morgz for engaging in many similar stunts as Jimmy on a smaller scale.
  • Friendly Fandoms: Fans of MrBeast go along well with fans of PewDiePie, especially with Hilarious in Hindsight and the meeting of the two in Japan in one of the videos (more specifically the Vacation Video)
  • Fan Nickname: all originating from various AI videos (mostly Joe Biden), MrBeast has some nicknames, such as "Bister Meast", "Mr Breast"
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In the "I Put 100 Million Orbeez In My Friend's Backyard" video, Jimmy said that, within a year, PewDiePie will have as many subscribers as they had Orbeez there. The video was published in November 2018, and sure enough, in August 2019, PewDiePie reached 100 million subscribers on YouTube.
    • In Going Around a Ferris Wheel 1,000 times, Jimmy claims he "has a new Kris, with a K," who is a plant. Years later, after her transition, the human Kris spells it that way too.
  • Memetic Badass: Jimmy is this in the memes and his fanbase, the main memes is of his generosity and monetary amount exaggerated , for the former, like "I destroyed a friend's house and bought him a new one" and "Last one to leave their hands off this object, keeps it." And the latter is usually about how this guy isn't bankrupt yet due to his insane projects and videos, there are also some memes about him knowing big-time Youtubers like Pewdiepie, Dream and Technoblade and bringing them together as either a Guest-Star Party Member (usually in the gaming channel), making them fight each other for ridiculous amounts of cash or hosting a competition like Influencer Tournaments for a good amount of money as the winner's prize.
  • Memetic Loser:
  • Memetic Mutation:
  • Misaimed Fandom: "$456,000 Squid Game in Real Life" portrayed the Squid Game games as lighthearted fun when the original show portrayed them as exploitative nightmares, though the intent was more likely to turn the games' concept into unscripted fun rather than stay true to its original presentation. For what it's worth, series creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk apparently doesn't mind, as he found the video amusing and appreciated the additional exposure for his show.
  • Special Effect Failure: An auditory example. His older Arabic dubs tend to have very low volume on everything except the voices, with things like music and clapping being borderline inaudible. This was fixed as time went on.
  • Spiritual Adaptation: Some of MrBeast's videos are based on pre-existing challenges like Squid Game and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
  • Tear Jerker: The ending to "World's Most Dangerous Trap!", where the contestant loses on Trap 8 and is left sitting in Stunned Silence, having already built up $700,000. At least Jimmy was kind enough to offer $100,000 as a consolation prize.
  • Woolseyism: In "$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!" during Red Light, Green Light, Jimmy says "Green light" twice in a row to fake out contestants before stopping them for real. In the French dub of the video, he says "Un, deux, trois, sourire!" (One, two, three, smile!) as the actual prompt to stop is "Un, deux, trois, soleil!" (One, two, three, sun!)
