- Broken Base: Mobius as a game has proven to be very divisive as a Final Fantasy title. Fans of it praise the complex battle mechanics, story, and low reliance on Bribing Your Way to Victory compared to a good number of other mobile games, while detractors despise it for being yet another mobile entry, its combat being a dumbed-down Final Fantasy XIII, and the questionable graphics quality* .
- Funny Moments: The event that lets you fight Ultros has him being his usual sleazy self, hitting on Echo before realizing she's older than him and recoiling in disgust. When he tries to pull the same "I love pretty boys even more" shtick he did with Noel on Wol, the warrior of light responds by throwing it right back to watch the lecherous cephalopod squirm. When Ultros calls in Typhon for backup, Wol actually has a moment of sympathy with him, wondering aloud why the both of them have to bail their loud-mouthed friends out of trouble.
- Nintendo Hard: In spades. The game gives almost no hand-holding in way of how you to beef yourself up, leaving you on your own to figure out how you're supposed to get stronger, and if you approach the game as you would a regular F2P mobile game, prepare for an insane uphill battle.
