• Catharsis Factor: After the multiple episodes of seeing Lila lying to everyone, getting away scott-free for it due to everyone buying into her lies, and frustratingly refusing to change, it's really satisfying to see her lies finally backfire as the Akumatized Villain of the week ends up going after her this time, and Adrien finally loses patience with her crap, threatening to cut ties with her and calling her out in both his identities.
• Karmic Overkill: While Lila is not exactly a nice person and some people were hoping for some misfortune, creating a supervillain specifically to murder her takes it way too far.
• Rooting for the Empire: With how despicable Lila is, some viewers were actively rooting for Oni-Chan to skewer her. However, considering that Lila is a Hate Sink, this might have been intentional.
• Strawman Has a Point: For all of Marinette's exaggerations about Lila spending time with Adrien, she does correctly point out to Tikki that even with Adrien knowing who Lila really is, she knows someone will get hurt by the chronic liar. Sure enough...
