  • Awesome Music: Where do we start?
    • "Idols Gone Wild", Shadow Rise's song, is insanely catchy song with a pop-like, almost sensual beat that still manages to get the Shadow's point across.
    • "Captain, Oh Captain". Pretty much everything about it, from the lyrics to the tune to the rhythm, works together to convey the tension and turmoil of that scene, resulting in a fantastic song about the debate whether or not to kill Nametame or not.
    • "Bitches and Whores" not only sounds great, but captures Adachi's character and insanity perfectly.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • "More Than the Tough Times (Reprise)". Just... oh god, if you thought Nanako's death in the game was bad...
    • "Captain, Oh Captain/Lines in the Sand", especially near the end, when The Protagonist snaps at Yosuke. At this point, everyone is on their last legs following Nanako's death, and can do nothing but fight amongst themselves over whether or not to kill Taro Nametame. When Yosuke realizes the rest of the crew is against his decision, he screams at his partner before getting a Big "SHUT UP!" straight to his face as the Protagonist cracks and breaks his silence. His solo after it doesn't even sound angry, just broken, as he tells his friends how disappointed he is that the team would resort to infighting when his cousin just died, and his last sung lines say it all.
Protagonist: "I don't care anymore. I'm going back to Nanako. So please, retake the floor. Go plot, and plan, and kill the man. It's got nothing to do with me."
    • The Dark Reprise of "When This World Meets That" that plays when Teddie is standing over Nanako's hospital bed after she dies.
