• Surprise Difficulty: Like its predecessor, this can be a challenging platformer due to the same issues of enemy placement and slime replenishment. Even the Easy Mode is a step harder: in Word Rescue, "Easy" levels only ever had one Gruzzle each, usually near the start. "Easy" levels in Math Rescue will have a few. On the other hand, Math Rescue allows the player to take more hits from Gruzzles, but only as long if they can find a good stock of trash can lids.
