  • Hilarious in Hindsight: At the start of the 1995-96 season, Manchester United introduced the untested quartet of David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Gary Neville into their main squad, and lost their opening game 3-1. Regular MOTD pundit Alan Hansen remarked "You don't win anything with kids". United went on to win the League and FA Cup that season, and you can just Google the likes of Beckham, Scholes and Neville to see what they accomplished since then. Has since become a famous case of Never Live It Down for Hansen.
