YMMV / Man vs. Bee

• Cliché Storm: The show does not offer much in the way of surprises and sees Rowan Atkinson caught up in familiar, Mr. Bean-style chaos (albeit as a different character).
• Genius Bonus: The soundtrack for the series is done by Lorne Balfe, and all but the first track are named individually after the Latin names for various bee genus's and insects. To name a few, Melittidae (an African bee family), Ceretena (Carpenter Bee), Bombus Lapadarius (red-tailed Bumblebee), Halictidae (Sweat bee), Andrena (a genus of bees in the Andrenadae family), Bombus Lucorum (white-tailed bumblebee).
• Padding: The concept does not really lend itself to 90 minutes' worth of content so we get multiple scenes of Trevor pretending everything is all right over video calls and dealing with a police officer. Trimming one or two of those scenes may have helped with the pacing somewhat.
• So Okay, It's Average: The consensus among reviewers is that Atkinson is still an excellent physical comedian but that this is not up there with his best work.
