• Ending Fatigue: There are two separate and very long scenes at the end of the film where Slamon's patients thank him. One is literal—the actual characters walk up and talk to him at a public event. One is metaphorical—while Slamon jogs around an empty stadium track, all the women he'd impacted slowly appeared in the bleachers and began cheering him on.
• Narm: All the shots of Denny running through the hospital.
