- Alternative Character Interpretation: When Albert gives a speech at school and apologizes for his actions, Miss Plum seems completely supportive and forgiving despite being slapped in the face and witnessing Albert assault a student in front of her. Did she really forgive him altogether or was she choosing to bury whatever resentment she had left in order to support his anti-drug stance in front of thebother students.
- Anvilicious: This episode is the typical 1980's anti-drug storyline, down to a youth falling out of grace and alienating everyone with his drug abuse, horrific imagery of drug effects and a passionate speech about the importance of not listening to peer-pressure.
- Easily Forgiven: At the end, when Albert stops at school to talk about his drug abuse problems and makes a speech about how it all almost killed him, Miss Plum seems moved and supportive of him, despite the fact that he assaulted a student of hers and slapped her in the face while high. Jeb Carter, the one who was assaulted by Albert, doesn't seem to hold it against him either.
- Squick: Albert vomiting the morphine out of his body during the climax of his withdrawl process.
