- Colbert Bump: Her work on Bring Me the Horizon's third album and her marriage to Beau Bokan of Blessthefall have both brought her a lot of crossover fans from the metalcore scene.
- Fan Community Nickname: Either "Team Lights," "Lights Army," or "The LASers" (The 'LAS' standing for "Lights Addiction Syndrome")
- Fan Nickname: The female Owl City to fans of Owl City, Lights fans tend to refer to Adam Young as the male Lights.
- Narm Charm: It may be much more thoughtfully written than a lot of contemporary pop, but there's still a lot of lines that blur the divide of heartfelt and corny. She sings with the conviction to make it work, and work it does.
- Signature Song: "February Air", one of her first singles (made even before her first EP!) and a staple in virtually every one of her setlists.
- Sweet Dreams Fuel: Not all, but a good portion of her discography could qualify. Most of The Listening is sugar-baked poetry and is a delight to listen to. Later material is much darker, but still works.
